a bike trip alone to a northern island

a feeling of freedom

so much beauty when your away from home

sweet faces I meet along the way

a pond dip so healing it made the hills for the next 10 miles feel like not big deal

cold beers shared with fellow bikers after a hot ride

I read a book

camped where no cell service existed

I walked alone

missing my spot beneath the gary oak
