End of Fall thoughts…

3 months till spring

I wonder to myself as I split kindling… how many fires have I started in my life?

The island glows this time of year, winter light has my heart

Walks are quiet, visitors have left

The birds have left, only a few will stick around

Only warm water never cold

Wool hats everyday

Hot baths save my soul

Twinkle lights make me smile

I remind myself one needs dark times to have the light times
